Yeah Marisska Hargitay, who is Jayne's daughter with Mickey Hargitay, has a scar on the side of her face from that accident.  Marisska says that she doesn't remember what happened because she was only 2 when it happened.  :(

Princess Diana also died in that same crash as Dodi Fayed as well as the driver Hennri Paul who was drunk at the wheel.  Diana's bodygaurd Trevor Rees Jones was the lone survivor of that crash and he's just now remembering what happened in the crash.

Punk singer, must notably from the bands The Dead Boys and Lords of the New Church.  Also an actor, best known role as Bobo in John Waters' "Polyester" (1980)

Struck by a car on the streets of Paris.  His injuries might not have been life threatening if he'd sought medical help.  However, Bators was too stoned on heroin to take care of himself.  He limped back to his apartment and died later of internal bleeding.

Italian film director, poet, and intellectual.  Infamous for the film "Salo: 120 Days in Sodom" (1975).  Shortly after the success of this final film he was murdered in Ostia, on the coast of Italy, near Rome.

Nicholas 'Razzle' Dingley, the drummer for Finnish glam band Hanoi Rocks.  He died in 1984 in a car crash; injuries he sustained as the passenger in a car driven by a very drunk Vince Neil.

For his crime, Vince Neil was sentenced to 30 days in jail, five years probation, $2.6 million in restitution to the victims of the crash and 200 hours of community service.  Due to Razzle's death, Hanoi Rocks called it quits.  Not only did Neil kill a human being, he killed one band's chance at future stardom

English singer and songwriter, the front man for the rock and roll band Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, Johnny Kidd died at age 30 in 1966, in a motor car accident on the A58, Bury New Road, Breightmet, near Radcliffe, Lancashire. The car in which he was travelling as a passenger had a head-on collision with one driven by Peter Metcalfe. Metcalfe's 17-year-old girlfriend, Helen Read, also died in the accident. Pirates' bassist Nick Simper, who later became an original member of Deep Purple, was also in the car with Kidd but he suffered only some cuts and a broken arm.

I believe contemporary Christian artist Rich Mullins was also killed in a car crash.  His story can be seen in the movie "Ragamuffin".

On January 23, 2000, Thomas' 1999 Chevrolet Suburban went off Interstate 435 as he and two passengers were driving to Kansas City International Airport during a snowstorm, where he was going to fly to St. Louis to watch the NFC Championship game. Police reports indicate that Thomas, who was driving, was speeding at approximately 100 m.p.h. even though snow and ice were accumulating on the roadway. Thomas continued weaving erratically through traffic until the time of the accident. Thomas and one of the passengers were not wearing seat belts and both were thrown from the car; the passenger was killed instantly. The second passenger, who was wearing his safety belt, walked away from the scene uninjured. Thomas was left paralyzed from the chest down. By early February, Thomas was being treated at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital. The morning of February 8, 2000, while being transferred from his hospital bed to a wheelchair on his way to therapy, Thomas told his mother he was not feeling well. His eyes then rolled back, recalled Frank Eismont, an orthopedic surgeon at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Eismont said Thomas went into cardio-respiratory arrest and died as a result of a pulmonary embolism; a massive blood clot that developed in his paralyzed lower extremities and traveled through his venous system to his lungs.

In a tragic coincidence, Berry Oakley, who was the bass player for The Allman Brothers Band, also died in a motorcycle accident less than three blocks away from where Duane Allman's fatal crash occured in Macon, Georgia, just over a year later.  :(

Actor Larry Breeding at the age of 36

He was best known for his roles on the ABC sitcom Who's Watching The Kids and CBS sitcom The Last Resort, both which got cancelled during their first seasons.  In 1982, he was set to co-star with Gerald McRaney in a new sitcom on ABC called It's Not Easy. 

McRaney had signed on, as his then show Simon and Simon was going to be cancelled, but when things changed and it got renewed at the last minute, he dropped out and went back to production for Simon and Simon, so producers had to look for a replacement.  While in wait, Breeding did guest spots on other TV shows, and on the day after filming a guest spot on an episode of "Laverne and Shirley" in 1982, the car he was driving veered into a pole on the Hollywood freeway and he was killed instantly.  The episode aired in 1983, after his death. 
The show It's Not Easy eventually went on in 1983, with Ken Howard and Bert Convy, and it got cancelled after only 4 episodes aired.

Travelling to his next gig at the Double Diamond Club in Caerphilly, Wales, the British singer Dickie Valentine was killed outright in a car crash on a single lane bridge at Glangrwyney, near Crickhowell, Wales on 6 May 1971, at the age of 41, together with pianist Sidney Boatman and drummer Dave Pearson, aged 42.

Valentine had travelled on that stretch of road many times and was familiar with its hazards. It was thought Valentine's attention might have been distracted by conversation with his friends, in addition to fatigue (the crash having happened at 4:20am). There was also heavy fog in the area. The coroner returned a verdict of 'death by misadventure'. Valentine is interred at Slough Crematorium.

Cozy Powell, English rock drummer, died on 5 April 1998 following a car accident while driving his Saab 9000 at 104 mph (167 km/h) in bad weather on the M4 motorway near Bristol.

R&B singer Billy Stewart died in a car accident the following January in 1970, just two months prior to his 33rd birthday. The accident happened when the Ford Thunderbird that Stewart was driving approached a bridge across the Neuse River. Stewart's car left the highway, ran along the median strip at a slight angle to the highway, struck the bridge curbing, and plunged into the river, killing Stewart and his three passengers instantly. The car had been purchased only 12 days before and had been driven only 1,400 miles before the accident occurred.

Thuy Trang, Pronounced Two-Ee, Trini Quan the Yellow Power Ranger died in a car wreck in 2001 after she was thrown from the car in which she was a passenger near Bakersfield, California.  She was born in Ho Chi Min City Vietnam December 14, 1973.

Singer-songwriter Colin Vearncombe, best known for the Black hit Wonderful Life, has died today following a car crash in Cork. The star, who achieved his most success in the 1980s and has sold more than 2 million albums worldwide, was driving home on January 10th when he was involved in a collison that left him with serious head injuries which led to him being induced into a coma.

Bob Clark and his son actor Ariel Clark were killed in a car crash in Pacific Palisades, California on 04/04/2007.

Country star Dottie West died in car crash on September 4, 1991 in Nashville. Apparently, she was in a hurry to get to a concert at Opryland. Her own car, donated by Kenney Rogers, stalled and she accepted a ride from a neighbor, and she told hi,m to speed up. Initially OK at the scene of the accident, Dottie suffered massive internal injuries to her liver and spleen. Three surgeries failed to save her. The neighbor was sentenced to 9 months and 29 days probation after pleading no contest for reckless endangerment.

Cricketer Ben Hollioake died on 23 March 2002 in Perth, Australia near his childhood school Wesley College, Perth, when he crashed his Porsche 944 into a wall on the Mill Point Road exit of the Kwinana Freeway on his way home from a family celebration. His death at the age of 24 years 132 days was the youngest of any England Test cricketer.

On 22 January 2017, two Dominican baseball players were killed in vehicular accidents in their native country: pitcher Yordano Ventura and infielder Andy Marte.

Members of the British rock band Viola Beach and their manager were killed after they plunged 25 Meters to their deaths off of a bridge in Sweeden in February of 2016.    According to the Police, the car had been going 59 KM/H before they hit the barrier, and their car plunged to the bottom of the canal.  Three members of the band died from head trauma after being thrown from the car while the fourth member of the band drowned in the water.  They were all between the ages of 18-20 years old.

Beloved comedic actor Leslie Jordan died in a car accident earlier this year after he suffered what was referred to as a cardiac episode.  He plowed into the side of the building after his episode and died on the spot.
