Jane Kean, best known for playing Trixie opposite Jackie Gleason on a revival of The Honeymooners, has died, The Associated Press reports. She was 90.

She died Tuesday at Providence Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., where she had been since suffering a fall that led to a hemorrhagic stroke, according to her niece, Deirdre Wolpert.

Kean worked with Gleason in the 1940s on the vaudeville circuit after getting her start in show business alongside her sister. She made her debut in the 1943 Broadway production Early to Bed. She later moved to Los Angeles and formed a comedy act with her sister in the 1950s.

However, her big break didn't come until 1966 when Gleason and CBS decided to revive The Honeymooners 11 years after its original run. The program was expanded to an hour and musical numbers were added.

Kean starred on the show for five years as Ed Norton's (Art Carney) beleaguered wife, Trixie. She then left to pursue other opportunities, including work in Las Vegas and voiceover work. In recent years, she voiced Aunt Ida in the children's film Abner the Pig and also put on a one-woman show that looked back on her life's work.

Kean is survived by her niece, Wolpert, as well as Wolpert's husband and their two children. She is also survived by her stepson, Joe Hecht Jr. from her second marriage to her manager Joe Hecht, who died in 2006.

Only Joyce Randolph (who also played Trixie) and Sheila Macrae (Alice Kramden) are left from The Honeymooners cast.  It's not too late to have a reunion episode.

I doubt it, unless they want to do a remake, now who would play Jackie Gleason and Art Carney?

Maybe Adam Sandler could play Ralph.
