Though some of her predictions were wrong -- that Amanda Berry was dead, or that Browne would live to be 88 -- she was fairly accurate and reliable. Undoubtedly the best psychic who ever lived, barring Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost. ;)

Being a psychic means that you are never wrong.  She was a good guesser, not a psychic.  I predict that I will not cry over her passing.

There was another little boy that disappeared and they found him a few years later.  She told his parents he was dead not too long after he went missing.  She was as much of a psychic as my pet rock.

If there's a hell, great.  And even if there isn't, the sooner frauds die, the less harm they can do.

Ms. Browne, I don't care that you got Amanda Berry's death wrong.  Guessing that Berry was dead was the high-probability bet, and I'd have guessed the same thing too.  I do care that her mother killed herself because she believed in your fraud.  And Montel?  For putting this fraud on air and lending her credibility that was wholly undeserved (and, umm, for just about everything else you're willing to endorse for money)  Same to you.

Prediction:  "Dr." Phil and "Dr." Oz are already endorsing quacks.  Within ten years, they'll be endorsing spiritualists, mediums, and psychics. 

Glass-houses-and-stones:  Offered the kind of money that Popoff, Geller, Browne, Montel, Rhonda "The Secret" Byrne have made out of their careers, and in the next few years where Oz and Phil are going to end up, I'd be hard-pressed not to kill people through quackery and pseudoscience myself.  Doubly so if I were essentially broke and had an opportunity to makes tens of millions hawking that crap. 

Last-saving-grain-of-integrity:  If I had $5-10B, I'd buy her network out (and require her as part of the terms of the buyout to forever retire from media) just for the pleasure of shutting down her ring of quacks.

If it's on the Oprah network, it's either pseudoscience or an attempt to sell you one of her clients' pseudoscientific books.  Ignore it, and if you can't ignore it, avoid it.
