Legendary singer Eydie Gormé passed away in Las Vegas, according to her publicist. She was 84. :\'(

As a kid I remember her doing a Muriel Cigar commercial, belting out "Hey Big Spender, spend a little dime with me". 8)

She was the wife of Steve Lawrence. Yeah..
I sorta remember her.
( I think Edie Adams did those Muriel cigar commercials, not Eydie Gorme )

Yeah you're right. I had googled Eydie Gorme and the cigar ad and got some hits. But when I googled Edie Adams I got HUGE number of hits. :-[

I think they were popular in the 50's and 60's era? ???
