Give my best to Dan Tanna aka Ofc Jim Street on SWAT played by Robert Urich.
The TV action series "S.W.A.T." only ran for 37 episodes in 1975-76, but it left a permanent imprint on popular culture and a big part of that mark was Lt. Dan "Hondo" Harrelson, played by Steve Forrest.
Forrest died last Saturday in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He was 87 and no cause of death was announced.
Forrest played hundreds of roles in an acting career that spanned half a century, performing opposite everyone from Ronald Reagan to Elvis Presley, Chevy Chase, James Spader and Faye Dunaway.
He was usually a supporting player or character actor, and he was particularly fond of Westerns, appearing in almost every TV Western during the golden age of that genre.

I remember him, an actor who played several roles in many TV shows.

S.W.A.T. rocked. I have a recording of its cool theme song on my phone. 8)
Those guys were awesome, always rappelling down some edifice so they could interrupt some crime-in-progress, blasting away with their military-style weaponry. :P

I liked Forrest in the British series"The Baron". It was excellent! I also remember him as Elvis Presley's half brother in Flaming Star.

I liked him on S.W.A.T.. He also had a cameo role in the fantastic 2003 film version
A movie I also remember him from was called Sahara from 1983. It was a terrible movie, but I liked it so much, I even bought a T-Shirt based on it.
