Legendary record producer Phil Ramone passed away today from an aortic aneurism.
Phil's resume is packed with all the big names. Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Bono, Elton John, Bob Dylan... if they were any good, usually Phil was producing 'em. Phil even produced the soundtrack to Fleshdance.
RIP Phil... thanx for all those awesome records. :)

This is very sad news. I've been seeing his name on albums for many years. My favourite of all his productions would have to be Too Late For Goodbyes by Julian Lennon

He produced Paul Simon's album "Still Crazy After All These Years," which won a Grammy for "Album of the Year" in 1976.
