Don't have any more detail, just saw this headline on the news wires.
In addition to Green Mile, Michael was also one of the participants in Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park back in '79. 8)
He was the fiance of Omorosa Manigault-Stallworth and had been recovering from a June 13th heart attack.
RIP MCD... :\'(

Michael Clarke. Big jolly man. Whatever role I saw him in (Green Mile, Whole 9 yards, Armageddon) I liked him.
Sad news.

He was a non drinker and said one night on 'The Tonight Show' that he will never know what that stuff tastes like. I am that exact same way, and I was glad to know I was not the only one out there who has no interest in Alcohol. I will miss his acting.
I liked him in 'A Night At the Roxbury' and thought he was a great choice for Kingpin in 'Daredevil'.
R.I.P. to an excellent actor!

This one came as a complete shock. 54 is too young. Rest in peace, Mr. Duncan.

Yes. I'm not very familiar with the movies he was in and I didn't know who it was until I saw a picture of him in the news section. Sad.

I always liked him, his deep voice was so awesome too. Loved his acting abilities. He was a cat fan (he had 6) so that makes him awesome in my book.
He traveled with Craig Ferguson to Scotland in May of this year, and I really liked the comedy routines/interviews. This was just one bit part, he did several that week.

I was a fan of "The Finder", his new Fox series that premiered earlier this year. You know how you don't really think of someone as a movie star but are always glad to see them when you're watching a film? That's how I felt about M.C. Duncan, seeing him on the screen was like an old friend suddenly dropping in. I'm gonna miss him. Godspeed, Michael Clark Duncan.
Your Pal,
Doc
