Yet another one that makes me very sad.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Dawson. You will be missed. :(

I don't know what it is about Hogan's Heroes. :-\\
Robert Crane (Hogan), Richard Banner (Schultz), Larry Hovis (Carter), Werner Klemperer (Col. Klink), Howard Caine (Major Hochstetter of the Gestapo), Ivan Dixon (Kinch), Leon Askin (the dude who played General Burkhalter), Dick Wilson (Capt. Gruber), Sigrid Valdis (Fräulein Hilda, and also Bob Crane's real-life wife until his untimely death) all are gone. And now Richard Dawson (Newkirk). All we have left are Robert Clary (LeBeau), Bernard Fox (British Col. Crittendon) and Kenneth Washington (Baker), and Washington was only on for the last season. It's like the show's cast had some sort of curse on it.

He was the one who put "Family Feud" on the air, after serving as a panelist on "Match Game." I was a little kid when it was on the air, so I don't remember much about it, but I did watch the reruns on GSN. I also know that he liked to kiss the ladies on the show.

It's kinda weird that Richard Dawson died on the same day and month as Ray Combs did but Ray passed away in 1996 (June 2nd),just think about.

I would watch this with my G'Ma, and she always wanted to go on that show just to receive a kiss from Richard Dawson. And this from a little old lady who was extremely conservative.
He just had that kind of charisma! :)

That's right, they died exactly 16 years apart, as I mentioned in my previous post:

Hells to the yeah. He was so good at it that he was also the reason contestants chose to play it with him, selecting him as their bonus round partner to the exclusion of other panelists. To counteract this, in 1978, the show introduced a wheel to randomize the bonus round partner. Here's its debut on the show, and guess who it lands on?

Sometime this week I'll have to watch The Running Man in his honor. Still probably my favorite Ah-nuld movie of the 80's, and his acting did a lot to make that film what it was. We'll miss you, Richard.

Many people don't know that Richard was the originator of the Duckface look that is so prevalent in photos today.

I also remember seeing a clip on one of those game show blooper programs (though I can't seem to find it on YouTube) where during the "fast money" section, after finishing the 20 second round, Richard Dawson and a female contestant turned around to look at her answers and she kept reaching over and playing with Richard's butt. ;D
R.I.P. Richard, kiss a few angels for us. ;)

But what's much better about this clip (and I never saw this before) was when the Greek girls kissed Richard a little longer than normal and he straight-up admitted to getting aroused by it. ;D
