Sharpley had a heart attack last week. I guess he didn't pull through.

Drummer Cedric Sharpley was best known for his work with the Tubeway Army, a great band from the seventies fronted by Gary Numan.

R.I.P. to a great drummer. 'Are Friends Electric' is a well-loved classic, and was even sampled by pop group Sugababes in their 2001 hit 'Freak Like Me'.
Sharpley was also the drummer in a band called Dramatis, which was an early 80s synth pop group comprised of all the original members of Gary Numan's backing band. They had a 1981 hit called 'Love Needs No Disguise' that featured Gary Numan
