Subject: The Big Valley's Peter Breck dead at 82.

Peter Breck, best known as Nick Barkley in the TV Western series "The Big Valley" with Barbara Stanwyck and Lee Majors, has died at 82. He was a veteran of many TV series including "Maverick", "Hawaiian Eye" and "77 Sunset Strip". He has guest starred in Lee Majors' 2 series "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Fall Guy". His best big screen role was Johnny the reporter in the cult classic, "Shock Corridor". He will be sorely missed.

I really enjoyed that show (and his character). RIP Peter Breck!

The Big Valley rocked. 8)
It is one of those shows that seems to have a curse though. Dick Long died a few years after the show was out of production, and then went Barbra Stanwyk. Then Linda Evans, who looked gorgeous at the time, ruined her face with all that plastic surgery.
With Peter now gone it is doubtful that Lee Majors and Linda Evans would do a reunion show. :-\\

Curse? What? Richard Long had lifelong heart problems, he died young, but not because of a curse. Barbara Stanwyck died at age 82, Peter Breck at 82, and Linda Evans was never the brightest lightbulb and did what many do thinking that they can arrest the aging process.
