The 60-year-old star of Grease and Taxi, who publicly struggled with drugs and alcohol over the last decade, died Friday at a Los Angeles-area hospital. He had been in a coma for more than two weeks after being found unconscious in his home.

Family members, including Conaway's sister, decided Thursday to have doctors remove the feeding tube and ventilator that had been essentially keeping the actor alive—over the objections of his longtime girlfriend, Vikki Lizzi, who went to court to try to block the move. But in the end, he was removed from life support early Friday.

He was a talented actor tho!

My favorite ep of Taxi was the one where Bobby decided that if he didn't a job by a certain date he was going to give up acting... then he does this long soliloquy about it and it turns out he was just acting so he decides, since he convinced his pals, that he'd give acting a few more years. ;D 


no wait... my favorite one is when Bobby is supposed to baby sit Tony's fish but the fish die because Bobby neglected them...

I guess Bobby's with Latka now. No doubt he'll be watching the rest of the T-Birds from above.

His drug addiction was of course his fault, but she sure as heck did nothing to stop him and indeed enabled his drug usage.
