Subject: Gary Moore has died
Written By: Henk on 02/06/11 at 3:25 pm
Yup. Guitarist Gary Moore has died today. He was 58 years old.
I won't lie - I can't stand his blues albums. And my upstairs neighbor isn't much help...
But it wasn't all bad. Here he is with another rock musician that sadly passed away too young.

When I saw this thread, I thought he died a long time ago. I realize that I was thinking of GarRy Moore (and I was right, he did die a long time ago).

It is sad that Gary (with one "R") died so young.

I didn't care for his blues albums either. Rock was what he was best at. 'Out in the Fields' was fantastic. My all-time fave from him was 'Hold on to Love', which to me is still one of the greatest rock songs of all time!
R.I.P. to a rock legend :(

Wow. :\'(
Another member of the way underrated bar-rock band Thin Lizzy.
Just yesterday I was rocking out to their classic "Emerald" with its AWESOME dual-lead guitar bits.
Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" is one of my all time favorites. 8)
RIP Gary. Thanks for the awesome riffs and say hi to Phil for me. :)

Over the past few weeks, my upstairs neighbor has been driving me near insanity with his guitar take on this. He's tried it ad nauseam. Didn't like it when it came out, can't stand the sound of it nowadays. Sorry if you're a true fan, Dan.
