Subject: Stephen J. Cannell passes away.
Written By: JamieMcBain on 10/01/10 at 3:49 pm
Stephen J. Cannell, the creator of The A-Team, 21 Jump Street and The Rockford Files, has passed away, at the age of 69, recently.
You will be very sadly missed, by all.

Sad that he lost a fight to melanoma! He will be missed. :\'( If they were to update that closing logo of his, it should say Stephen J. Cannell Productions (1941-2010) either above or over the paper logo, that is, if it's would've been still active on syndicated TV.

He was also a good actor appearing on the 90's action series 'Renegade' and in the film 'Half Past Dead'.
My fave of all his productions was 'Stingray'. The complete series of it is on DVD and is worth getting. You won't regret it.
RIP to a TV legend

I always thought he looked a little pissed off in that clip, especially when he flings the paper.
What was he so mad about? You can clearly see his Emmy in the background! ::)

I've been trying to get into Castle, and I trust they didn't do The A-Team movie without his input. But my out-and-out favorite of his shows was The Commish. I wouldn't want to see Michael Chiklis remembered in 50 years for any other show, but it'll probably be for the Shield. But that's what I'll always be grateful to Mr. Cannell for. RIP, Stephen.
Your Pal,
Doc

I know it's been a little while since Mr. Cannell's passing, but I was messing around on YouTube today when I found this clip.

They did a nice tribute on castle a couple weeks ago. castle invites an up & coming author (to give him a hard time) to the poker game filled with mystery writers james Patterson is one. Anyway the dude goes to sit down and they say not there that's cannel's seat. Then they have a moment of silence.
