Long time collaborator with Quentin Tarentino , Sally Menke was found dead recently, after going hiking and had not returned home.
Menke edited films such as Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Grindhouse, Kill Bill, Vol 1 and 2, amongst others.
Rest in peace, Sally, you'll be sadly missed.

I read about Ms. Sally Menke's untimely death on IMDb. Reservoir Dogs is one of my favorite films.
It sounds like the heatwave in Southern California might have been involved. Menkes might have collapsed from fatigue and heatstroke, eventually dying of dehydration.
Poor Sally...it couldn't have been pleasant, but I'm sure you're somewhere much nicer now.
