Pekar is best known for his autobiographical "American Splendor" series. In 2003, the series inspired a critically acclaimed film adaptation of the same name in which Pekar was played by actor Paul Giamatti.

Odd genius. His "American Slendor" is a brilliant piece of work. I liked Harvey, after all he showed up Letterman. Watch what happens when he starts dissing GE, showing Letterman as he really is.

Dave slagged off GE plenty over the years... I think he's just playing with Harvey there. listening to Harvey just recite a bunch of GE's misdeeds would be pretty boring on it's own.
