Subject: Temptations Singer Ali-Ollie Woodson dead at 58
Written By: Howard on 06/01/10 at 6:34 am
Lead singer of The Temptations during the 1980s and 90s, died on Sunday at the age of 58 from cancer.
Though Woodson (pictured far right) was not an original member of the popular Motown group, he wrote and sang lead on The Temptations comeback single "Treat Her Like a Lady," which was a hit on the R&B charts in 1984.

Wow, most of The Temptations died at a young age. Paul Williams was 33, Eddie and David were like 51 years old, and Melvin was 52 I think. The only original member still living is Otis Williams.
Was "Treat Her Like a Lady" a remake of the song by The Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose? ???

Nope, they wrote it themselves. There have been several subsequent songs using the title since Cornelius Bros. and Sister Rose had a smash hit with their "Treat Her Like a Lady" in 1971.
