Willie Davis, who played Major League Baseball in the 1960's and 1970's, mostly for the L.A. Dodgers, has passed away at the age of 69. Apparently he was found dead in his home, with no cause of death explained.

One of Davis' memorable achievements in the major leagues was his 31-game hitting streak in 1969. RIP Willie, you will be deeply missed. :\'(

He played 1 year for the Expos in MTL, saw him in a few games at old Jarry Park in Montreal.
He led the Expos that year in hits, AB, runs, doubles, triples, RBIs.
