Subject: Juliet Anderson Passed Away (January 10th)
Written By: LyricBoy on 03/02/10 at 7:22 am
Just read that prolific 1970's and early 1980's actress Juliet Anderson (who often went by her stage name, "Aunt Peg") passed away on January 10th, apparently of a heart attack.
Juliet started her career at the fairly late age of 39 but made an impact in her genre. Can't say that I have ever seen her in a film but given her fame I'm surprised there were not more news stories about this...

We were talking about the passing of Aunt Peg on another forum. Before we had that dumb acronym MILF, we had Aunt Peg. When I was 15, I wanted Aunt Peg to come up to my room and teach me everything she knew!
:-*
We lost Jamie Gillis only last week. It's the day of reckoning for so many of the golden greats of adult entertainment!

Did some research over at IMDb.com...
Turns out that Juliet and Jamie co-starred in 29 films, including the movie "Aunt Peg". :o

Back in the day, we didn't have titillating stories about hot teachers on the 6 o'clock news. Nope, we had to learn how to pick the little padlock on the toolbox that happened to contain Dad's porn stash.
And what was in that stash was on videotapes, which were played by great hulking things called VCRs, which had little mechanical counters on 'em that told you precisely how far back you had to rewind the tape so that it was in the same position as it was when you found it.
And VCRs didn't make any quiet little humming sounds when you used 'em, no, they made great big clacketing clunking sounds, so everyone in the house knew someone had put in a videotape.
They weighed, like 40 pounds, too. But it didn't matter, because if you had two of 'em, and one of your friends' parents had left for the weekend, you could take your VCR over to his place, and copy the contents of one tape onto another tape.
So you'd drive there uphill, both ways. In the snow. With a 40-pound VCR in the trunk. And you'd try not to slip on the ice, because a VCR cost $500.

And you tell people who are used to being able to type the name of their favorite pr0n star into a search engine and get her entire filmography within the space of 30 seconds, and they don't believe ya. (I don't even believe me. Lemme try this... Oh my, that is interesting! Thanks to the expense of producing on film, the stars of the movies of this era could actually act. OK, we're not talking Oscar-level performances here, but I've seen worse on TV...)
Cool story bro, cool story bro,
Wherefore's this a cool story, bro?
But soft! What light through yonder CRT breaks?
It is the 'net, and Juliet's goin' on.
(Eat your heart out, Stacy's Mom! :) )

You think the original videotapes were a pain?
Try scamming a set of grainy black and white Super 8 stag flicks and then finding out your buddy threaded the projector wrong and now the film has sprocket dents in it and overfills the payoff reel. :o

Dayyum!!! That's almost as bad as getting 90% download only to find your external hard drive is full and your system is crashed. Gotta reboot and start all over again!

My old man didn't care if I raided his porn stash. I thought he did, so I was careful not to disrupt the arrangement (the October Hustler goes between the February Club International, and the June Cheri), but in retrospect, of course he knew. I think he would only have cared if I, you know, messed 'em up (and I don't mean the order of the stack)! It was mostly stuff he bought at newsstands on his way home from work, but sometimes he'd get one of those expensive high-quality European hardcore mags from the red light zone in Boston! Those were awesome, but he kept them in the bottom drawer on the left. Took a while for 'em to make it to rotate to the top bureau drawer on the right with the others. Then there were the old man's archives in the attic...

When I was working in the Chicago area, a buddy of mine invited me over to his in-laws' house to hang around one Saturday. His father-in-law was very wealthy and had this mansion, and a collection of Corvettes that included one car from each model year going back to the beginning. :o
Anyway, we're sitting around the living room and in comes his 12-year-old brother in law with some of HIS buddies. They flick the TV to the Spice Channel (that's the nudie channel) and watch the action as they also rough-house around the living room. Then the mother comes in and I figure that they're gonna catch hell. Instead she says "hey you kids want any lemonade and cookies?". This was a big-screen TV and there is no way she could not have noticed all the moans and groans.

I figure with if I had all those chick magnet Corvettes and the mansion, I wouldn't need porn...well, I'd probably do BOTH!
::)
Anyway, if I had vintage Corvettes and teenage kids around, I'd keep the garage locked like Fort Knox! Remember "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"?
;)

Heh heh... The other cool story about my buddy is that he was not allowed to drive ANY of his father-in-law's cars.
Why? Because one day he took the Porsche 911 Turbo out for a spin. And spin he did, as he rolled the car BEFORE HE EVEN LEFT THE DRIVEWAY. :o
Mind you it was a long and winding driveway, but father-in-law was pizzed and my bud never got to drive any of those fine cars again. ;D ;D

Aww...just heard about this...
One of the the most beautiful women in the biz. Of course I remember Taboo - Juliet was a monster by herself, but with Kay Parker it's some serious wood...
RIP Aunt Peg... :\'(

Something like that.
I remember I sold some of my old man's pr0n archives to an older kid I knew. Made a nice tidy profit and the old man never missed 'em. He had them stashed up in the barn loft with tons of other junk where I was forbidden to go in the first place. Billy kept mentioning he like the articles, "They got great AH-ticles," said he in his Yankee brogue. Now, I wasn't much of a critic when I was eleven, but I knew Club wasn't exactly Pulitzer material. My folks saved every copy of the New Yorker since the week they were married, but I couldn't sell Billy on them AH-ticles. They had all the Harper's back issues too, but I guess HAH-pah's couldn't hold a candle to Cheri, either!
Anyway, this AH-ticle is off-topic...
:D

Speaking of serious wood, Aunt Peg did quite a few films with the legendary Johnny Wadd, But in real life she could not stand him. The pairing of those two pornsters must have been a titanic event.

I can't blame her there. Cokeheads are insufferable. At least he didn't give her HIV!
