Glen Bell, founder of the wildly successful Taco Bell restaurant chain, passed away today at the age of 86 at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, California.. No cause of death has been released as of this time. :\'(
Amongst his many accomplishments was an annual rite of passage here in Beaver County, PA, where Taco Bell was repeatedly voted "Best Mexican Restaurant in the Beaver Valley" in the annual Beaver County Times survey. 8)
RIP Glen, you made one heck of a menu. :)

I had no idea the founder's last name was Bell.
Coincidentally, I was looking over at the brand new Taco Bell in front of the brand new Home Depot on Route 9 and thinking about how successful that fast food chain has been.

I didn't either. I always thought that the bell was just part of the logo.
