Subject: Stage star Danny LaRue dies at 81

Entertainer Danny LaRue has died at his home at the age of 81, reports say.
LaRue's spokesperson told the PA News Agency, the star had died following a short illness.
He made a career out of his drag act, although he disliked being called a drag artist, preferring the term "comic in a frock".
He made few appearances on television, but played a leading role in keeping the traditions of music hall and pantomime alive.

I was in the car with three of my housemates and two support staff on Monday when I heard on the radio that Danny LaRue had died. He had prostate cancer and starred in a stage production of 'Hello, Dolly!" as well as making a guest appearence in an episode of 'Mr Bean.'
RIP Danny.
