Subject: Broadway and Hollywood Screenwriter Horton Foote Dies at 92

You may not recognize his name, but you'll surely remember the plays and movies he wrote scripts for, including "A Trip To Bountiful", "Tender Mercies", and the 1992 adaption of "Of Mice And Men". Perhaps his best work was 1962's "To Kill A Mockingbird", which won him an Oscar.

I thought he had already passed. I very much liked his stuff. He was a distant cousin to Shelby Foote wrote extensively on the Civil War, and was made a star in Ken Burns: A Civil War. :\'( :\'(
