Totally unexpected. I just heard when I got home a few minutes ago. Wow! Mr. Russert had become such a staple of TV news over the past 15 years. He had interviewed all the most powerful people in the world and his political influence was more often just understood than spoken.
I was not his biggest fan, but I will certainly miss Tim Russert.

Tim was Da Man, a great interviewer regardless of what party affiliation the interviewee had. He knew how to grill any politician until they were all the same flavor... well done! 8)
