To go through a war and still live to be 110 years old... what are the odds?

Wow! It takes a hell of a constitution to live to 110. The term for that is "supercentenarian." I think the ratio of people who live to be 110 is something like 1 in every 100 million with the ration rising dramatically every year of life thereafter.
But don't get me started on longevity....
Congratulations to the now departed M. de Cazenave for a life touching three centuries!
