Just saw on the news wires, Ms. Brett Somers, known for her long-time stint on The Match Game, bit it today. She was 83.
She and Charles Nelson Reilly used to always get into their legendary battles.

Yes, she was a great panelist on the classic Match Game. She'll be greatly missed. :\'( Incidentally, I believe fellow MG panelist Charles Nelson Reilly checked out earlier this year at the age of 76.
Just for the record, I share a birthday with Brett.

Here's what I found on a local news website:
WESTPORT, Conn (AP) - Actress and comedienne Brett Somers has died.
Her son, Adam Klugman, says Somers died Saturday at her home in Westport, Connecticut of stomach and colon cancer. She was 83.
Somers was best known for her appearances on "Match Game" in the 1970s.
She married actor Jack Klugman in 1953. They separated in 1974 but never divorced.
Somers appeared on several episodes of "The Odd Couple," playing the ex-wife of Klugman's character.

Sorry, Mr. C, that was the late fashion critic Carrie Donovan wearing the huge eyeglasses while hanging out with Jeannie & The Jeffersons. I never really understood why Old Navy chose her & "Magic" for their speakers. ??? Dogs don't wear pants, and she wore the same outfit in every commercial(which I've never seen for sale at Old Navy)!
