Subject: Mayor of Pittsburgh passes away

The TV stations in Pittsburgh are reporting that Mayor O'Connor's 4 brain tumors have not responded at all after over a month of intense chemotherapy. He has not been out of the hospital for over a month. The hospital is now going to resort to radiation therapy. :-[
O'Connor is one of the good guys, I hope that this treatment works. :-\\

The newspaper this morning reports that Mayor O'Connor's condition is now "hour by hour" and he is on life support.
Everybody is pulling for Bob, both Dem and Repub. I sure hope he pulls through but realistically this is the worst possible situation... :-\\

Sadly word has just come over the news that Mayor Bob O'Connor passed away tonight. :\'(
Rest in peace, Mayor Bob. You were a true Pittsburgher. :)
