Although he was mainly known by younger audiences as the man with "The Doll" on the old Miller Lite commercials, Spillane created one of the toughest guy sleuths in Mike Hammer.

I liked Mike Hammer. "I, The Jury" (with Armand Assante as Mike Hammer) was one of my favourite movies of the 80s

I remember when "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer, Murder Me, Murder You" played on TV. Was my first Spillane movie and it was cool. 8)
