Have to say, I loved his work but as he got older..I met him at an autograph signing show and he was very hurried to the fans...i.e. 'c'mon let's go thank you, thank you'..and he really lost a young fan when he urged him on with... 'c'mon fatty get over here and I'll give you a picture'...well, the kid was brokenhearted and went to another celeb for THEIR autograph in tears saying that ***called me fat!!

Al Lewis had to be my favorite character on the "Munsters". His comic lines and crazy ideas were always a joy for me growing up watching nick at night, then later on watching TV land. Great actor, never knew any thing of his except the "munsters" but I really enjoyed him on that.

Me too...there are some vintage celebs I forget are still alive too. Guess this guy lived a long life.

I was so sad to hear of Grandpas passing.. I loved him.. I play the Munsters slot machine alot at the casino... I loved that show,mademe laugh alot, I always wanted to hang out in the labratory of his... R.I.P Long life INDEED! :\'(
