Emlyn Hughes, famous Liverpool footballer and all around smiley bloke has died early today at the age of 57.

As a Liverpool fan when I was a schoolboy (when he was Liverpool captain), and a great watcher of QoS in its early years, all I can say is that he's another of life's unique, irreplaceable characters :\'(

A great loss, Brain Tumor and he wasn't exactly old by any means.. :(

Having followed British Football since the early 70's, Emlyn was one of those guys who was in the forefront from the start for me.
Always impressed as one of those guys, a bit like Bobby Moore, who always seemed to have heaps of time whever he had the ball. :)
