Subject: 'Psycho' Actress Janet Leigh Dead At 77

Actress Janet Leigh, whose memorable shower death scene in the movie "Psycho" died last night at her home. She was 77.
She did a lot of other films too, including the original "The Manchurian Candidate" and Orson Welles' "Touch of Evil". But she was best know for being slashed by Anthony Perkins dressed as his mother in the Alfred Hitchcock classic "Pyscho". Younger audiences know her as the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis (from her marriage to Tony Curtis). Both of her daughters and second husband were at her bedside the time of her death. She will be sorely missed. :\'( :\'( :\'(

Janet Leigh helped define modern day horror in the movie that Got horror started,"Psycho", all horror fans including myself owe a lot to Mrs. Leigh and hope that IF their is a Heaven, her and Hitchcock are working on a new script as we speak.

RIP Janet. Thank you for your screen presence and for bringing us Jamie Lee! :\'( You will be missed in the mystery/horror/suspense world.

I guess you could say Anthony Perkins who also was in Psycho died many years ago. :(

"Psycho" is a standard that most horror flix filmed these days aspires to....but precious few attain Hitchcock's pure terror ...or excellence...nuff said.
