I saw that, R.I.P. Fay.
I did find it funny that the article I read said there was no immediate cause of death...I am just guessing here, but she was 96 and maybe, just maybe, it could be old age? ;)

Maybe she was distraught over the untimely loss of the funkmaster Rick James. ;)

Whatever happened to Fay Wray?
That delicate satin draped frame
As it clung to her thigh, how I started to cry
'Cause I wanted to be dressed just the same
RIP :\'( :\'( :\'(

Whatever happened to Fay Wray?
Well, now we know...
Whatever happened to Fay Wray?
That delicate, wood-encased frame
As they drop the box down
Six feet under the ground
Well, I'm glad it's not me, just the same...

This is very sad she died, but at least she lived a good, long life. She's in a better place now. :\'(

I read that she died in her sleep.
Not terrified and screaming like the passengers in her car? (I know, more old, tasteless jokes ;))

I want to go like my grandma, in my scrambled eggs. She was at breakfast at the nursing home and she had an aneurysm (sp?) burst in her brain. Quick, painless and comical.

I also heard that the Empire State Building dimmed their lights for 15 minutes in her honor.

It would be cool if, after the lights are dimmed, they follow it up by aiming spotlights at the building, and have stunt pilots in biplanes buzz the building like in the movie.

Your aunt died in her scrambled eggs sitting in the pews? ;)
My grandma died 5 years ago and she was 88. Not like it wasn't expected.ÂÂ

My great-uncle Joe died earlier this year at the age of 88.
