I looked at the last 2 videos you tried to post. The URL started with https.  To be shown they have to begin with "http" only

When it starts with "https", You will see the" Invalid Youtube Link" message.

Just manually edit the link and remove the "s" from "https". That should solve your problem.

Sadly the youtube code is a mod, and a very old and no longer supported mod at that.  The "replacement" modification itself is way more complicated, and surprise, also no longer supported.  The mod writer had some big feud with the people that write the SMF software and stormed off to make his own version of SMF which looks like it's been in development for years without a testable version ready...

so in layman's terms, it's not going to get updated any soon.  There's other solutions I guess, but converting the existing posts would probably be a huge headache. 

When posting videos, all you need is the video code itself.

So basically, this:    tube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATDQscPiX6c

... which will not work, will post successfully like this:  tube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATDQscPiX6c

only really needs to look like this:  ATDQscPiX6cutube]
