Not a huge issue, but I just noticed that my forum time is 5 minutes behind the actual time....

No, I think it was spot-on before. Now all of a sudden it seems to have lost five minutes. Don't know why that is.
I remember it happening once before on here; it was back in November of 2004. That time it was about 30 minutes fast, I think.

I wonder if it is something to do with changing the clocks. The rest of the world changed this past weekend and perhaps that through the server out. :-\\

I don't even pay attention, I'm used to it....the server at my office is always slowing down timewise. When it gets 10 min behind, they fix it and in a couple of months it is 10 min behind again. ;D

there's supposed to be a timeserver this server syncs up with periodically to keep the time correct. No idea why it wasn't working. The machine did get rebooted today, so maybe that fixed the issue.

New batteries required?

who knows... I just rent the box. It's in a cage somewhere very far away. I might upgrade next year if I can find something faster at a similar price point. Even though we still see occasional "sever busy" messages on the messageboard (when I stupidly run all my scripts at once), it's been pretty reliable compared to the old hosting company.

First thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread ...
Stop, forum time!

Can'y say as I ever noticed the time issue. When I joined the forums, it didn't default to EST time like most servers I've been to seem to do. I was on GMT for the longest time LOL
