All today and some of yesterday, I have received no e-mail notifications.  It was about the same time as there was stress on the sever.

I have the usual e-mail notification ticked in profile and checked it just to make sure. Could somebody look into this, probably Chucky, and see what's going on?

I restarted the mail server just to be safe, posted something and replied, and got an email notification.  So I at least know it's working now, even if it wasn't working before.

Sometimes it depends on your email provider.
I know yahoo doesn't like to replay messages for HOURS....
Hotmail sends them as soon as they are recived, aol sometimes jacks up their email when they upgrade their server and gmail thinks everything is SPAM....

I think I found the problem...they were all in my spam folder, even though I had the address in my contacts just yesterday.  What is the exact address again?

Thanks...that's the one that I had.

I haven't received any notifications from inthe00s.com since ~8 am yesterday. I'm not sure if it's on the board's end or hotmail's, but I did receive two spams emails since then, so I'm guessing the problem is on the board side.

I rechecked my notification settings here: they are the same as they have been. I also checked my junk folder: the notifications aren't there either.

Yeah I've just reset my 'email notification for any pm's' blah so I don't get them outside of here..it's easy enough to receive them when you login to this site..unless of course they are life changing messages    ;D  :D ;D
