I've seen several people post polls with more than eight choices (which is the limit), and I was wondering how one does that? Your help would be appreciated! :)

I've been wondering the same thing. Sometimes it's hard trying to limit the choices to just 8.

It may be a good idea to ask one of those people who have accomplished that. As of now, I haven't played with the poll options yet to know and be of any real help.

Fuss can help ! It confused me as well ! So I tinkered ;D
Post the poll, and then go straight back into edit it.
Every time you do that, you get three extra blank spaces :D

The programmer in me wonders if that's a feature or a bug... if I had written the software, I'd say feature, because I'd be too lazy to patch it ;D

It is there, when you post the poll and go back and look at it, there is a thing below all the poll choices that says :
"Edit poll"
see the two examples below !
FB :)
GRRRRR ! Dunno why the examples are all blurred, but in the first example, the Edit Poll bit is at the bottom right.
The 2nd example shows the extra blank spaces you are given :)

I checked and even created a poll today and I get "Lock Voting" instead of "Edit Poll" See below

Rush, at a guess, it may have to do with the choices you made at the bottom of the poll initially ?
Try putting up one now, and muck around with those settings, yuo can always delete it after !

No, unfortunately, I don't think it has anything to do with any settings. For some reason, where we (Rush and I) have "Lock Poll" you have "Edit Poll!" Weird! Here's a print of the options we get. It's different! How come? (Not that you'd know, but maybe Chucky would?) :)

I have tested it in a number of ways, it always gives me the Edit Poll option ???

YAY!!!!!!!! I now have the "Edit Poll" feature! However, now that I have it, "Lock Poll" is gone. Not that I'll ever use it...but YAY! I can edit my polls!!! ;D ;D ;D
