IIRC, the letters in the Scandinavian and Indo-Germ languages are pronounced much the same as they are in the German language, albeit with that country's accent (at least from a native speaker). It's a while since I studied anything in Danish or Swedish as I used to, though..

Actually, I googled it not too long ago...and I found out that there's no rule that says a player's last name has to be on the back of his uniform; in fact, Ichiro's not the only exception.
Now I am a bit confused as to why the abbreviation for "identification", ID, is sometimes written with periods (I.D., like that). Wouldn't that imply that the D stands for something? ::)

I've always been confused about that, too! The only time it could be played outside the U.S. is when the Blue Jays are involved, which hasn't happened since 1993.

In the prevoius three years, for the first two years I did have the flu jab and all was fine, but last year I missed out due to work committments and last January I was done with that nasty respitory infection, and I am still under 50.

Yes, I have increase my intake of water. But I may need to exercise more. As far as eating 3 balanced meals, there isn't even enough food at home and I have to eat lunch from the cafeteria. I might as well use Slim Fast or starve. Thanks for asking though.

Well...my opinion (for what it's worth) is that not every woman dresses to please others, they dress for themselves and what feels comfortable or what makes them feel sexy/good about themselves. I often dress for what I think looks good on me, not to catch a guy or to get appreciative looks from anybody else. I either like the fabric that the skirt/shorts/pants are made of or it's comfortable. No alterior motive for me.

I can't say for the others, but I'm sure I read that a cat's whiskers are its 'gauge' for negotiating how wide a gap it can squeeze through...
If the cat can push its whiskers through, then theoretically, its whole body can safely follow...

it's funny that you talk about cat conversations...with my one cat (kit-kat) we talk back and forth all the time...I have even perfected her meow (ya, I lead such an exciting life). LOL! :D

My husband does that too! He can mimic her meows perfectly and she'll respond to him. It's an amazing ability and I wonder what he is saying in cat language. ;D My hearing is not very good, so I can't do it (like he can).
