Just think-- I could have bought Let It Be (Beatles) in it's original vinyl, then in 8-track, then cassette, then compact disk, then dvd... come to think of it, I remember buying it out of a cut out bin in the early seventies.

I needed some blank cassettes a couple of months ago (I don't have a CD burner) so I went to Target and they still had several brands, at a very good price.

I have old tapes made in 1971 that still sound good, but they have to be played on a cheap tape recorder for best quality. Some stuff tends to get gurgley, tho', as it ages. Just today listened to my David Werner tape in the car -- taped off my album about 6 years ago, the tape quality was still fine.
