What do you consider to be the greatest event in Thistory of Texas (other than the actual war to wrest Texas from Mexico). I guess that may rule out the events at The Alamo as well...

There's a few spots that are still having issues and while I don't know the minutiae of the situation, Houston at least feels like it's back to normal.
BTW: while I love H-Town and I've lived here for quite some time, I wouldn't call it my hometown.
