How did you get into pirates?


1. My trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia and the Caribbean in recent years, and being fascinated with the area in general including the pirate history of the area.
2. My love for metal and searching random sub genres of metal, including pirate metal, which helped me discover the greatest band of this decade, Alestorm.
^ These same exact reasons are also what got me into Rasta Culture and reggae, searching "reggae metal" helped me discover Skindred.

As for Colorado, I live in Aurora, the biggest suburb of Denver, the same town where the 2012 Theater Shooting took place in...
It's okay here, but migration from California and New Mexico has caused the population here to explode, and as a result, traffic and home prices have gotten way worse.
One nice thing though is living close to forests, Pike National Forest, and Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forest. Colorado has some of the best scenery in the US.

The whole "90s kid" thing first came to my attention via people who ranted on kids networks. and who'd go around sharing nostalgia for Nickelodeon programming from the 90s and early 00s, a good chunk of which I was old enough to remember watching when I was in kindergarten (Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Wild Thornberries, CatDog, Rocket Power)

And my apologies for responding late to this old post, but yeah I agree! It's one of the reasons why I was never able to conquer this game especially when a few of the silver coins hid in a few areas.
