Gosh, my favorite album is the Bad album because I like how Michael tried to get away from the bubblegum, squeaky clean image he had with Thriller and tried to I guess market himself as "family-friendly sexy".
And I have so many songs I like. Right now I'm into the outtakes. Don't Be Messin' Round, Al Capone (early version of Smooth Criminal) Abortion Papers ( a pro-life song that never made the Bad album) Someone Put Your Hand Out (outtake from Dangerous album, instrumental played on the Dangerous tour)
So many songs. I find new stuff like all the time. Remixes...outtakes, demos.

Yes I write. But it's mostly short stories. I'm writing my first novel now.
I've been writing since I was about 9 or 10 years old. I was inspired by RL Stine actually because I read his Goosebumps and Fear Street series all the time. And when essay writing came around, I noticed I just seemed to have a natural knack with words. (I started reading when I was three before even starting school) And I liked coming up with my own stories. I started writing little fantasies about MJ when I was 12 or 13, just messing around, mostly writing stories and reading to my mom to amuse her. When I was a bit older, 18/19 I noticed that the fanfics going around for Michael were, for lack of a better term, crap. I figured I could do better and did with a long-form saga called Strawberries.
As I got bored with that, I wrote short horror stories and eroticas with Michael. I've written about forty short stories.  :) ( I got alot of free time on my hands)
When I kept getting good feedback and people telling me I should be published, I decided to throw my hat in the wring and write a novel. @MarkMc1990: It's not a sore topic. I mean death is a part of life. I realize that. But it wasn't so much Michael's death that hurt me--I had been mentally preparing for his death since I was 12--it was just the manner in which I was told. Michael died on a Thursday. And the same Thursday, I had been in dialysis. So I came home, laid down and took a nap. I was awakened by my father coming in--to a room with every concievable surface screaming MJ--and goes

"Tiff, Robert (a family friend) called. Michael Jackson died." Just like that. No softening of the blow...nothing. I didn't cry then, I just kind of knocked my father over getting to the TV to check the news and that's when the reports were coming in. Some said he was in a coma, then they all started saying the same thing "Michael Jackson 1958-2009" and Jermaine made the statement. I remember crying immediately after and having a very bad anxiety attack the night after. And I wanted to rip all my posters down and stuff.
Once that feelign waned, I was on top of it. Wanting to know what exactly happened to Michael. I invested roughly 14-15 years of my life into the guy. I wanted to know. I was calm cool and collected. Other fans were sobbing messes for weeks, some threatened and attempted suicide. I talked three out of it. I even had one ask me how I was so together when others were freaking out. I don't know if it was my purpose to comfort others or not, but I just did it. I'm so used to putting myself aside for others, it just seemed natural to help the fans. They're my people. It's not my best MJ memory, but I was glad to be of help to some people.

@Howard: Thanks, but I don't need any more posters. In my back room, I have three MJ ones still in plastic, and one Prince one being kept flat. LOL.

I never got to see Michael in concert, but I did get to see him in person in 2008 in Houston. I got to touch his shoulder, before security shoved me back. I tried to see him in New York in 2001, but 9/11 happened and in hindsight its probably best I wasnt up in New York. And I tried to get the ticket to the This Is It show--which was like 150 dollars, which is remarkably cheap for an MJ concert, but that quack killed him.
I was supposed to see the Jacksons--Marlon, Tito, Jermaine and Jackie--in Houston, but the show got cancelled. (And I raised hell on Twitter about it)
I have seen scads of taped concerts from Michael I have like...15-20 of them scattered around the house. I saw my first taped concert when I was 12. It was awesome.  :)

@Howie: That is from the Jacksons TV show. I watched every single episode on youtube. It was great.

Stevie Wonder. I really, clearly remember the first time I heard the song "Just Good Friends" from the "Bad" album and just falling in love with it because I like Stevie already and now with Michael it was perfect. At the time I didn't know the two had both been on Motown label and I just thought it was neat they even knew each other. Awww, childing ignorance.

--I'd tell him to flat out flee from these people: The Chandlers, Martin Bashir, The Orvizos, and should his path cross with Conrad Murray, dance-step kick him in the nuts. No questions asked JUST KICK!
--I'd want to meet Michael probably during the time he didn't want to be seen, when acne took over his face. The times he thought he was ugly and would wash his face in the dark and avoid mirrors. I'd want to be his little cheerleader and give him pep talks and help him gain confidence. And I think if he had a girl behind him saying you look fine. I like the craters, he may have been different. The only thing I hope is I don't make him stuck up and cocky. LOL

And no, it's not too personal. Prince kind of filled a void for me. You see, at the time Michael was in hiding after his trial. I got into 3T, the song group with his nephews, but you can only play thier 2 albums before its monotonous. SO i crawled over to Prince. It was slow in coming. I was in his fanclub over a year before posting. I do genuinely like Prince's music and think he's a genius with a guitar. I just got pissed wth him because I don't like his new afro hairdo. It doesn't mesh with me. I went through a phase the same way when Michael cut his hair back in 2001. My time with Dion was pleasant, he treated me well and did things for me, but to be honest, I don't think our relationship was exactly healthy. Dion really, at times, acted like he was Prince. He would dress like him and spend copious amounts of time on his appearance to mirror Prince. And at the time, I kind of fed into it because I was like "My boyfriend looks like Prince nyah-nyah-nyah". I kind of noticed it was bad when he KEPT asking me to be Apollonia to his Prince for Halloween parties. (Or some other Prince girlfriend) It's rumored he got thrown on his face out of Paisley Park. (I wasn't htere cause I refused to fly to Minnesota) just little odd things that hinted at obsession. I mean I know I can be kind of abrasive about Michael Jackson, but I'm not dressing like the man on a daily basis. It kind of got to a point where I lose track of Dion and only saw this put on Prince act. I ended it. I claimed my dialysis took me away from him too much. But Prince took him away from me. The novelty wore off and well, I didn't lik what was left behind to honest. A grown man playing dress up. I didn't know the real Dion. I don't think anyone really did because he'd been playing the Prince role since he was a kid. I mean I would like to date an MJ look alike, but eventually the sequins and make up come off and the guy is a normal man. I wouldn't expect "Michael" all the time, cause it would be odd. I don’t think anyone has asked me about Michael’s costumes before. I always loved how Michael had a penchant for dressing up and pretending and that sort of thing. . I know it may sound sacrilegious, but I don’t really like the movie “The Wiz”. I much prefer the original “Wizard of Oz” with Judy Garland. I mean if Michael can’t save a movie for me, it’s a shame. I use that picture of Michael as a clown to scare the dog mess out my friend Ash all the time--she’s afraid of clowns. I loved him as Chaplin, both in 95,--in the pic you put up--and the ones he took in 1978. It’s cute, and from what I heard he was tight with Oona Chaplin, Charlie’s granddaughter. And I'm a fan of Chaplin too! I used to watch him when I was little.
I’ve seen tons of get ups and a couple do stick out to me. Just not the ones mentioned. LOL

Michael as Napoleon Bonaparte. I first saw this picture in a book called “Dancing the Dream” which is a collection of Michael’s experiences and poems. It’s obviously Thriller era.

Michael had a fascination with royalty and I know at his home in Neverland, he kept a custom throne--a real one, not a loo--in his bedroom and all over his property were portraits and depictions of him as a king, jester…etc. I’ve also seem more recent photos of him in that garb too. He had his clothier make velvet and ermine robes for him and crowns. (I don’t think it’s any stranger than me having my pageant crowns all over my house.)

I got Bad on cassette on a hot June day in 1995. I was only 9 and passed up the Thriller album because I didn't recognize the "darker" MJ. I was proud of this tape that I stored it standing up by my bedside, like a framed picture. And I can't tell you how many times I told it "I love you." as a child. Tape broke and was replaced three times before I got the CD.  ;D

I knew Michael's clothes were pricey, but I read some of the stuff in that new book "King of Style" by Michael's clothier and when I saw some things were 18 carat gold plated, had gold boullion, semi precious stones and real fur...the numbers kind of exploded in my head.

I was proud of this tape that I stored it standing up by my bedside, like a framed picture. And I can't tell you how many times I told it "I love you." as a child. Tape broke and was replaced three times before I got the CD.  ;D

That's what drew me to the look. Michael appeared to have that kick ass, take charge sort of look. You know people actually wrote in to Michael and his people during the "Thriller" era, complaining he didn't smile enough.

He never cursed in his 80's songs, probably more towards the later years, the 90's and 2000's era.

Yeah. But in the 80s, he was kind of king of the world. What did he have to curse about? He had plenty of awards being showered on him, a new nose and Brooke on his arm.
My the 90s, he was mad, his balls had dropped, and the dirty words came out.

I first heard Michael curse in "Dangerous". He just said damn. In "Scream" he used the "F" word. It's like bleeped int he record, but in live performances, it's unscensored. And in DS, he uses the word Ass.
I've also heard him use the "B" word and Hell appears from time to time. Doesn't bother me. Didn't bother me as a kid. Mom didn't like it. Then she heard Prince sing and the curl fell out her hair. LOL.

I loved this as a child. A part of me also feel that this may be a stick at Prince because the video, in Moonwalker opens after a child version of the Bad video. Which we all knew was initially supposed to be an MJ/Prince duet. And Prince did have his lil ass strapped to a motorbike in Purple Rain.

Not in real life, he had his own people for that. But for one of my fan fics, I have dressed him for various events, like awards galas, a ball and several meetings with the singer Prince in which he wanted ot "out-dress" him. It's not really hard, I take something military inspired and tweak the colors and beading. Style his hair a particular way and kick him out the door.

Christ Alive man! Prince has been dying his mop black since 1980! His natural hair-color is a dark brown with  auburn highlights beleive it or not. But knocking on 55 years of age, I think it's be grey-tinged by now.

Cook: I like things where I don’t have to babysit the stove, so anything that can be baked is fine. I bake chicken and “grill” steak and fish all the time for myself. I have to smother/stew food for my father because he  has trouble chewing food at times.
Eat: I make a pretty good pasta in a pepperoni sauce. It tastes really good.

Probably Dunkin’ Donuts. They see me at least three times a week on the way to dialysis,. Coming home, I usually like a good burger and I like to eat from Checkers. But I eat all over town, it just depends what I’m in the mood for.  Also a Burger King Whopper, no tomatoes. But I generally likes burgers.

Olive Garden. Hands down. I love Italian food, and they make really good dishes. Plus their skinny peach white iced tea is delish.

Wow, that’s hard. But I have to say a 5th Avenue bar. I don’t know if they still make them, but I absolutely was obsessed with them.

White Chocolate Macadamia nut. And anything with pecans.

The other night while my friend was boring me to death on Messenger, I, for some reason, decided to look up each of the Jackson's net worth. Of course, Michael is at the top and sparkling, with Janet close behind. I looked to Marlon and I was kind of stunned. I mean I thought about it. Between 1969 and 1984, Marlon worked consistantly as a singer and hype man of the group. And I assumed he had ammassed a fortune of several millions. When I looked at it really well, it was extremely below that. And it kind of bothered me. I mean the guy worked as hard as Michael. Got his ass kicked all the more by Joe. I wonder why he's not a millionaire. It kind of shocked me.

the jacksons as a whole group never amassed the level of Janet or Michael... Honestly I'd sort of, from a marketing stand point expect to see Jermaine and Latoya above Marlon...

if you think about it- with the exception of their Victory tour  they have not had the career they had in the 70s.  I know you and few other fans are still seeing them and they recently toured but they are not the draw they once were...hell if not for your mention of it I wouldn't have even known they were still performing.

About Marlon, I assumed he'd done better because the man had it going on in the 80s. I'm just saying. And I know he does alot of work in Africa and has his fingers in several projects there. So I expected more. I realize no one had it like Michael though. Hell, I saw the man spend 80 grand on a CHESS SET once. And he let Prince use the little pieces as teething rings. I saw Prince putting them in his mouth. (They were the size of Barbie dolls so he wasn't going to swallow them.)

I "saw Michael Jackson twice as a child before I knew who he was. in 1989, when I was three, I was frightened of his "Leave Me Alone" video because the dogs in suits scared me. In 1992, I saw "Thriller" for the first time when I was 6 and everyone was saying his name, but I didn't know him from Adamn, really.
I started to like him at the age of 9 when I saw his 20/20 interview with then wife Lisa Marie. Short version is, I saw this gorgeous man in shin guards talking, looking cute as sin, and singing in clips and I just was interested. I bugged the sheesh out my mom for a week to get one of his albums, and the rest is history.

I died for this as a child...like I was lucky to find Michael when I did. It was an absolute accident I ever saw that interview and its the best accident of my natural life.

About Marlon, I assumed he'd done better because the man had it going on in the 80s. I'm just saying. And I know he does alot of work in Africa and has his fingers in several projects there. So I expected more. I realize no one had it like Michael though. Hell, I saw the man spend 80 grand on a CHESS SET once. And he let Prince use the little pieces as teething rings. I saw Prince putting them in his mouth. (They were the size of Barbie dolls so he wasn't going to swallow them.)

I "saw Michael Jackson twice as a child before I knew who he was. in 1989, when I was three, I was frightened of his "Leave Me Alone" video because the dogs in suits scared me. In 1992, I saw "Thriller" for the first time when I was 6 and everyone was saying his name, but I didn't know him from Adamn, really.
I started to like him at the age of 9 when I saw his 20/20 interview with then wife Lisa Marie. Short version is, I saw this gorgeous man in shin guards talking, looking cute as sin, and singing in clips and I just was interested. I bugged the sheesh out my mom for a week to get one of his albums, and the rest is history.

I've seen the 1995 interview on Youtube before. He was releasing his 'History' album around this year I think.

The History album, was the second album I ever bought by MJ. I remember my mom freaked because it was 35 dollars for the double cassettes, but I had to have it and I got it.

if you think about it- with the exception of their Victory tour  they have not had the career they had in the 70s.  I know you and few other fans are still seeing them and they recently toured but they are not the draw they once were...hell if not for your mention of it I wouldn't have even known they were still performing.


I'm guessing the younger fans who used to like them are now grown-ups.

I view pageants very positively. I really and truly loved them and enjoyed them because it was kind of the closest I felt to MJ. He was a child performer, I was kind of one too. I am naturally competitive about anything anyway, and it was fun to dress up and win prizes. I talk all the time about how if I'm blessed with a daughter, she will be in pageants. (Unless she has other interests)

I like old TV shows, stuff in syndication from the 80s mostly. And I am WILD about period drama "Downton Abbey" I just am hung up on the 80s though. It's a decade I wish I had come of age in!

I'm a problem solver. My friends know to come to me when they have troubles and stuff and I help set them straight.

Yes, I do. I have the idea that at any time I could meet a potential boyfriend, and I don't want to scare him off looking like Moms Mabely without it.

- What is your view of Dr. Conrad Murray who was Michael Jackson's doctor before he died?
I hate him and I hope he suffers each day for what his carelessness and lack of skill has put the fanbase and especially Michael's family and children through. I hope he doesn't have moment's peace ever again. And if I'm in the wrong for feeling that way...I'm just wrong. I feel very strongly about this and there is nothing I can say nicely about him. I don't even view him as a human being. He is a subhuman, mutant creature to me. I don't call him a man. Michael was a man that stood for something. Murray is just a creature in existance and that's all I think of him as. A lifeform. And as sharp as I am about him. I know other fans who are even sharper and even nastier when they refer to him There are fans that want him to die. There are fans that want to kill him. And then there are some that have forgiven him. I know all walks of fans.He robbed the world of a musical treasure and well it will be an exceptionally long time if I ever do forgive him. .

- Do you believe in UFOs?
Yes, where do you think Murray came from? Looks like a tall-ass version of ET. "Ellllliiiiiooooottttt!"

Mine? Oh gosh...I suppose my eyes. Lord knows I use enough eye shadow, liner and mascara!

No I haven't but I'll try looking for it.

I had a pretty interesting conversation with a friend of mine today in regards to that "stunt" I pulled last night while I was on no sleep. He's a fellow dialysis patient and well aware of my MJ and MDJ fixations. So while we were taking our treatment, I asked him if he thought I was "worthy" of meeting the Jacksons. A strange look came to his face and he kind of laughed. At first I thought he thought I was being silly. Then he opened his mouth and said that Michael and his brothers were lucky to have some one like me as a fan and they should be the honored ones if I got to meet them. And he's like convinced I will meet them. thank God I didn't wear mascara today, I nearly cried.

On the same note, he is the only non-MJ fan I've seen be as enthusiastic about my stories as I am. I gave him the first like 35 pages of a story I'm writing for my fanclubs and he did NOT put it down until he finished it.  Now when I complete my novel, if I could clone a millions hims, I could be the next JK Rowling.

As much as I liked The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons back then, something is missing NOW and I'm not saying Michael is one of them, it's the energy these days. That's just me.

Oh that's okay Howard. I agree as I'm sure alot of people would. Michael was this special, rare sort of performer that comes along maybe once in a generation. He's on the likes of Elvis and Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon. Someone who is so different and so removed from whatever was going on in the scene that they just have to stick out.
At an early age I recognized this special quality and genius and visionary in Michael Jackson, probably before I even knew what those words truly meant. That was why I was such a fan and liked them so much.
But I can't discount the rest of the Jacksons. They are talented musicians and singers in thier own right. I admire Tito and Jermaine for being guitarists, and Jackie and Marlon for dancing--especially Marlon cause he won't stop moving until the stadium empties after a show.
But I do see that some fans are happy to see them and I like that to some extent they are kind of making a "name" for themselves as being relevant as something other than Michael Jackson's doo-wop singers. Even if it is about 3 decades late.
When I first heard of the Jackson tour going world wide, I didn;'t think it would make much buzz. Then just last night, I saw a video at the end of a Jacksons show. Marlon was sweating, and wiped his face and chest with a towel. He then threw the towel into the crowd. The one woman that caught it, procedded to leap up and down for the next ten minutes. Marlon threw two more towels and more people were jumping like they just won the lottery.
There is a legacy there...I just hate it took Michael' death for it to come to light.

If I had 100 million dollars, I'd probably pay someone for a kidney so I can get back to normal life, hire the Jacksons to play a personal concert (fly my friend Lulu in from France for the concert), and travel to Australia to see the caves. I'd also go to Vegas, New York, and California and shop along the way. (Hire a sniper for Murray  ;D ) I'd also want to erect monuments to my mother and Michael Jackson. And hire Stacy London and Clinton Kelly to give me a fashion make over! 

My dream house would be a Queen Anne Victorian. I'd like it big but not obnoxiously so. It must have a tall, brick fence, so no one could see in and I'd feel safe inside. It can be in Texas, I don't mind. Just some place where a natural disaster won't destroy it. I do want a theatre so I can watch my old films and MJ in larger than life size. Big closets and nice pretty rooms with antiques in them. I'd put my monuments in the backyard. I'm not big on going outside, but I'd make sure the monuments were well-kept.

Now why the hell didn't I think of that? YES I would. But I wouldn't be able to recover all of his belongings. Some are in storage, some are spread around his family and some have been auctioned away. I don't think I'd want the animals. I can't even keep an ivy alive, much less some wild animal.
