whistledog, you're not screwin' with me, are ya?
In any event, mrharness, this forum no longer has a wanted/selling board, and even if it did, lawn jart sales and ads are prohibited here.

After they saw my sister throw one ;D
On December 19, 1988, all lawn darts were banned from sale in the United States by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Shortly after, in 1989, they were also banned in Canada. Lawn darts, used in an outdoor game, have been responsible for the deaths of three children, the latest being in early 1997 near Elkhart, Indiana.

Three sets for sale!
eBay also removes those ads as soon as they are spotted. The ones up for sale on eBay are the "safe" versions, not the originals.

Nah.
If you were a kid in the 1970's and you didn't have at least one puncture wound from a lawn dart, then there was something wrong with you.

That was the in-injury to have in those days?

Lawn Darts for sell on eBay
I sit corrected. eBay does allow jart sale, but... those are not the original jarts, and since the seller is in the UK the CPSC ban doesn't apply to him selling them or people outside the USA buying them.

That reminds me (nothing to do with "Jarts") when I was in the 3rd grade, at school, a few of us would take regular darts outside, and throw them into the air as high as we could, and wait for them to land, and scramble after it, to be the next one to throw the dart into the air. Well No one that I know ever got hurt, but there were times that I would lose sight of the dart in the sun...talk about running like hell. ;D

High enough that the dart could come down with enough force to pierce your dome. :\'(
