Those that say there are no separate races are misguided, obviously there are, race however has very little to do with color. The people of Eastern Europe and south central Asia are very similar even though they are not the same color, at the same time, the people of south america and southern Europe are very similar, one again, different color, same essentially structure.

I was surpirsed it was that many but then the article talks about the many different tribal languages there are across the world.  And also how few people there are speaking some of these.  Here in North America Siletz-Dee-Ni had only one fluent speaker, only five speak Yuchi and there are about another 50 native American anguages with only a few speakers.

I wasn't sure you would know.  Michael Vick wasa star football(american) player until he was caught recently with a dog fighting operation at his estate.  Bad enough he had organized dog fights, but when some of the dogs lost he or his men would torture and kill the dogs.  He just received 23 months in jail, and it has cost him somewhere in the neighborhood of 164million dollars in wages.

He wasn't retired, he was on the active roster, although he won't be suiting up for 23 months.  There are actually fans and players who are sad and hoping he gets out so he can play again.

Well, ethnicity and race are divisive subjects, and it depends on the definition of them. But I can give you a clue as to how many identifiable ethnicities there are by telling you how many living languages exist in the world today according to Ethnologue: 6,912. Now of course, not every language has its own distinct ethnic group, but most of them do. So there's a ballpark figure.

Of course, ethnicity is not the same thing as race. It's a lot more specific than that.
