Greetings, and Felicitations!
I seek to put together an '80s Rock Cover band.
I am a vocalist, and I recently did my homework.
1980s cover bands are currently a hot trend amongst the college and nightclub circuits.
Therefore, I want to put a good one together!
Ask me about it.....I will answer all questions!

No you're right, you do the right stuff, you get lots of bookings.

No, it isn't about cover just one band- those are "tribute" bands.
There are quite a few of those also, but I find it difficult to restrict myself to just one band.
Besides, I have been told that I would probably do a good Meat Loaf, if I went that route. :P
The idea behind this band is to assemble a good-sized songlist consisting of good, solid 1980s rock music, and musicians who can: play the music competently, have fun onstage, and match my performance quality.
(As you can see, I'm pretty picky about the whole thing. ;D)
I have put a post on the Ratings board, which may give you a bit more of an idea of what I mean.
Check it out, and by all means submit your thoughts!

That depends...will we be doing anything by the Plasmatics???
-Also, I need to come up with a few really wacked-out 'alter-egos', that only come out on stage.
