Now we're equal (for the moment at least)  ;D  ;D  ;D...

Can I ask what the purpose of creating this thread was? Why didn't you create an 'Ask me about NY' thread?

This is just how New Jersey politicians feel.Once they get into office they
completely forget about South Jersey.I am all for dividing the State and
making South Jersey the 51st State.I am tired of my taxes paying for all
the New York wannabe's, while we in south Jersey get ignored.

Yeah, your right, I just needed to vent. It's sorta like "I can beat up my brother
but no one else can." I am really tired of N.J. getting a bad rap from everyone else,
for such a small state it has a major influence in music and entertainment industries
as well as literature and science.

I actually did an article on Camden recently...I think we have more scientific inventions and firsts in our state than any other, and we're incredibly important in terms of the arts, in the people we've produced. I mean, my county alone produced Martha Stewart, Tom Cruise, Christina Ricci, Buzz Aldrin, Allen Ginsberg, Philip Roth, Amiri Baraka, the Bloodhound Gang, Shaquille O'Neal, Ice-T, Queen Latifah, Dionne Warwick, Gordon McRae, Whitney Houston, Zach Braff, Paul Auster, C.K. Williams, Aaron Burr, Jason Alexander, Joe Piscopo, Eva Marie Saint, Bebe Neuwirth, Frankie Valli, Connie Francis, Roy Scheider...

And mass murderer Howard Unruh.

You know what? I forgot about him, when you live a one of the country's most
dangerous cities you seem to forget about murderers. His killing spree was in the
Cramer Hill section.I lived in the Fairview section on the opposite side of Camden.

I will be crossing the border on Sunday for a christening party. The party
will be held in South River, NJ. Do you know the exit Number off the
Tunrpike for South River? I don't trust map quest, the last time I used
their directions I was hopelessly lost.

Think it's Exit 9 East Brunswick onto Route 18, which is a short drive to South River.

Thanks for the information, the invitation mentions Rte. 18 but it
didn't give an exit number off the Turnpike. Again, Thank you it is
appreciated.
