This is just a curious thing to me. If you are unable to vote for all that you have owned you may have to repost again, I only allowed you to vote for 5. I also apologize for any consoles I have missed. Just for fun try to post a pic of you favorite unit that you have owned as well.

Atari 2600 - at least two consoles (worst joysticks ever). Favorite game: Yar's Revenge. Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Wii, Sega Genesis (Phantasy Star 2 was awesome and expensive: $79.99 at Toys-R-US 20 years ago!), Sega Game Gear (terrible selection of games), Playstation. I've played on most of the other consoles as well.
Here's a pic of Fantasy Star 2:

all i've got are madden 09, and grand theft auto IV somewhere in a box. i got kinda tired of madden but i raelly enjoyed GTA; still, i can't find it anywhere since the move so... grr.
last couple of times i tried renting a game from blockbuster i couldn't get it back before it was all late. i wish they'd do something like netflix for console games, i'm sure i'd play them a lot more.

It takes a bit to get used to the cover system but after that it's actually not too bad. I finally beat it on insane with a friend over Xbox Live this past weekend, the ending is kind of disappointing but overall the game plays like a really awesome action movie.

Micah has owned:
Nintendo NES (of course the salesperson didn't bother to tell my mom that by the next Christmas she wouldn't be able to find any games for it because it was discontinued)
Playstation (1) (gift for her from her "daddy")

i've got lego indiana jones right now. it's fun although i'm starting to lsoe interest after playing i'd say three or four total hours. i'm thinking lego star wars next.
i have to admit it's sorta refreshing after the nihilism of GTA4 and call of duty and whatnot.

Is it on your 360? Just play it all through at least the story, it's quite amusing the way they retell it with Legos.

Use a gamefaq. Gamefaqs.com is roxx0rz.
And you can also buy some extras so you don't lose as many coins.

i like to wait until i feel the love. i HAVE completed games before... i finished call of duty iv and world in conflict, both great great games. but i have to feel driven, i don't really feel driven with the lego indy. though i like it. same with gears of war 2, good game but not good enough to really get me absorbed. my favorite thing about indy is that it's like the most deluxe version of pitfall EVER. (and pitfall was an indiana jones ripoff to begin with. how postmodern!)
in addition to the lego star wars, i just added call of duty: world at war, i might like that one.
think i might throw "scene it" on the queue too.

so let's see, i got as far as, um, past the second village where you have to use the bazooka to blast the truck, and up as far as the other village where you bounce on the storefront to land on the top of the wagon and there's the guy behind the window where you have to wear the funny hat. only i killed all the bad guys so no more funny hats. and i cant get marion on top of that damn wagon! i thought about using gamefaq, which i used a bunch last night, but it was late so i just went to bed.
you really kinda need to use a cheat sheet. it would take me weeks to guess at random that you were supposed to dig up that buried switch to lower the ladder, or that you're supposed to use the bazooka to blow up the big gray thing. totally not intuitive.

I made a mistake that I regret, I bought the Magnavox Odyssey instead of buying the Atari 2600, I was so disappointed with it that for months all I kept saying I should've got the Atari 2600, Finally after about 8 months I bought the Atari 2600 and never went back to the Magnavox Odyssey again. The thing that caught my eye and why I bought the Magnavox Odyssey in the first place was the console had a keyboard on it but it was only used for 1 game cartridge and if I remember it was just the basics about a real computer, It was pretty lame.

The first games console I remember playing on a regular basis was the PlayStation. It was my brother's, but he never played on it so my sister and I played games on it instead. The games I liked playing on it the most were 'Moto Racer 2,' some of the earlier 'Crash Bandicoot' and 'Spyro the Dragon' games and 'Bust-A-Move 2 and 3.'
When I was 12, I was given a yellow Game Boy Colour for Christmas. The games I played on it were 'Game Boy Gallery 5 Games in 1,' 'Tennis' and 'Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition.' My GBC has since been superceded by my PSP, which I got for Christmas in 2006.
For my 15th birthday, I received a PS2 and it's amazing because I can play PS1 games, PS2 games, DVDs and audio CDs on it.
Further to my PSP, the games I own for it are 'The Sims 2 Pets,' 'Cars (based on the Disney Pixar film of the same name),' 'Crash Tag Team Racing,' 'Crash of the Titans' and 'The Simpsons Game.'

Our very first console is Sega Genesis. Then we got Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation, Playstation 2. My bro has others such as X-Box, X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo DS. We also have Game Boys as well. Since my bro has a high paying job, he's able to afford any type of video games. He's a video game buff for years and so have I.

Just yesterday I bought WWE 12, thing is right now I just want one game because If I buy many games I'll be so occupied with WWE 12 that I won't pay attention to the others, that's what happened when I had the PS2 games. After I got the PS3 I gave away my PS2 games to someone and I traded in my PS2 for a PS3 later on.

you should've taken the PS2 games with you and used them as part of your trade in...you wouldn't have gotten a lot of money for them but you'd've gotten more than you got just giving them away.

I had all the Dance Dance Revolution games, still in the original box with the dance mats, and a bunch of others the names I cannot remember. I sold the DDR ones for $15 each
I would recommend never selling older games to Game Stop. They give you very little. If you are ever going to sell games, I would recommend checking out pan shops in your area as even if they pay you very little, it would be more than Game Stop would give you lol
Around my neck of the woods, the Game Stop locations are known as EB Games (formerly Electronics Boutique)

You should save up for an Xbox One. It comes with a newer (and from what I hear better) Kinect. 360 is still good though. I hope it still sticks around for a while

Between my brother and myself, we had/have the following...
Sega Genesis ('93)
Nintendo 64 ('97)
PlayStation 2 ('01)
GameCube ('01)
SNES (Used '02)
Nintendo Wii ('07)
As for handhelds...
GameBoy Pocket ('97)
GameBoy Color ('98)
GameBoy Advance ('01) (sold it years ago)
GameBoy Advance SP ('03)
Nintendo DS ('04)
I think that's all of them. We were never an Xbox family. As you can see from the years I provided, we haven't bought any new video games for some years now...
I kind of wanted to buy a Nintendo 3DS but I only want it so I can play Luigi's Mansion 2 and Mario Kart 7. I don't know if it's worth the money for just those two games. I was going to buy one a few years ago, then spilled a drink on my laptop and had to put the money I would have spent on a 3DS towards buying a new laptop instead.

I've only ever had three. The Super Nintendo was sold, but I had that when I was nine, and then I bought a PS2 off an accquaintance, it's still here and I don't play it, then the last I bought was my Xbox360 and haven't had a hankering to play games for more than a year.

Which systems have you owned?
None. Never had any. I'm guessing it's because all of these are after my time.

I finished high school almost 35 years ago. I don't think any of those existed yet. They are after my time.

There was no such thing as a game console, all you had at the time was The Atari/Intellivision systems.

I still have my PS3 and it is so great. I can watch films, look at YouTube, buy some games and listen to music. I switched from a PS2 to a PS3 and never looked back.
