Can I do a "decade vs decade" thread? Such as '70s vs '80s? Could I also do an "era vs era" thing like "early '80s vs late '80s"? Are these allowed?

Are you going to post a picture of a DeLorean and say "that's a 70s car because of DERP" even though it came out in the 80s? Then no. Don't do that.
Are you going to compare a 70s car with an 80s car, like "this is what the 70s gave us versus the 80s" then yes, that's probably fine.
The reason is that the first example is the kind of nonsense the board was overrun with ten years ago.
