New mod installed. Been wanting this one FOR AGES. I even went so far as writing a primitive version at one point.
Click "Show new replies to your posts" and check the box next to a thread you no longer want to see, and click Ignore at the top of the column. Viola! Instant bye-bye to thread.
Modified post to add instructions to see it:
Profile -> Look and Layout
change the last drop to:
Show quick-moderation as: checkboxes
Without the checkboxes, you can't ignore any topics.

To the right of 'mark all messages read" etc.
Chucky might have to switch your permission.
The issue with you and Philip is because of Super Geeky - it doesn't always register as being a regular member. ;)

Ah, thanks. ;) I thought it might've been another issue having to do with special titles such as Single Board Moderator or Website Editor.

Still not there.
The "Mark all messages read" thingy shows up at the top right and bottom right, like it's supposed to, but not the added feature.
Guess I'll try again later.

I tried one more setting. It's definitely added to the "Super Geeks" profile, so I'm confused.

Could it have to do with the fact that I am in the "Website Editors" category?

no, it has to do with your profile settings
Profile -> Look and Layout
change the last drop to:
Show quick-moderation as don't show. checkboxes. icons.
Without the checkboxes, you can't ignore any topics. I bet you wouldn't have been the only person to have this issue.
