Subject: Does anyone else get this?
When I click on certain threads I get the following error message pop up
'A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?
Line: 270
Error: expected ')'
click yes or no'
What's it all about?
Subject: Re: Does anyone else get this?
looks like a javascript error... you can probably ignore them (and disable the warning)... they shouldn't be occuring, but I haven't had the time to track them down

Sometimes I get errors on the page but pay no heed.

I was asking because I hadn't seen this particular problem till I changed my computer recently. Just wondered if it was a problem with my set up or something else.

it's a setting in the browser, which will alert you if there's a problem with javascript, there should be a checkbox on the warning page that says something like "don't warn me about these errors" which is fine to check, unless you frequently program javascript.
I'd fix it, but I plan on changing the software pretty soon anyways.
