Subject: UK flag

Written By: maddog167 on 12/14/03 at 04:03 p.m.

I find the flag symbols a useful addition to the boards, so well done on that one Chucky. They help me to put some context on people's comments without having to look at their profile.

However I have a question. Why is the UK flag smaller than the others in order to accommodate the letters "UK" next to it? Is the UK flag less recongnisable internationally than those of the USA, Australia or Canada (the only other 3 I've seen on here)?

This may seem trivial (OK, it is trivial) but I think it merits an explanation....

Maybe it's just the icon set that the board software comes with...I certainly don't think the UK flag is any less significant :)

it's just the set of icons that came with the softwate. I did notice the size difference the other day myself, but didn't have the time to check the other flags. it may be related to the letters UK being in there
