Well, the reason Hairspray locks the posts after 20 pages is if they were any longer, they'd take longer to load on dial-up connections, so Hairspray usually locks them up after 20.

Stop acting like an infant child. You're making yourself look bad.
Before you make these foolosh-looking protests, you should inquire about the issues first in an intelligent post.
The threads are locked at 20 pages no matter what the topic.
This helps the site run smoothly.
Crazy Don's listed a reason for ya' too.
Now...
Let us not have anymore of these outbursts unless you want to be kept in a playpen. ;)

You could ask people
and if they take up too much free space, then you may have to close them up!

That's what'll happen to this one, if we're not careful. The single rule is, twenty pages, and it goes under. Start a new one if we haven't already and you still want one, if we haven't reached the magic ten. It's not all that hard.

there's nothing to protest here.. this policy has been in place a fairly long time to keep things running smoothly.. where the site is starting to have some speed issues, it's certainly not wise to change it now
