Hey if anyone can help it would be great. I want my avatar to be a picture that I have on a website. How do I go about doing this?

This is just a guess, but if you were to right-click (Internet Explorer) and scroll to Properties, at the bottom, then copy and paste the URL into the I have my own pic: Avatar button, and click, you should be able to have your own pic as your avatar.
This pic has to be jpg or gif stylee.

Can I suggest you use some image editing software to resize your image to 100 x 100 pixels - then the forum won't resize it.

Also what you could do is save the image.... crop or resize it so it is clear and this gets rid of the waste in border. then you could upload your image to an image host... this is what i do.
I recommend Rancho Web http://www.ranchoweb.com and also Boom Speed (if it allows you to register) www.boomspeed.com as reliable image hosts. ;D
